The top half has a large master bedroom with king-size bed, another bedroom with a queen-size bed and a bunk bed with pull out twin bed. The two bedrooms share a bathroom, and there is a small kitchenette next to the master bedroom. The bottom half, at pool level, is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit, with a king bed and a set of twin beds in bunk. There is a large living and dining area, with fully equipped kitchen. Laundry room is off the side of the kitchen. The house comes fully furnished with comfortable mattresses, all linens, all kitchen tools, toys for children, several surfboards for guest use, laundry room access, satellite TV, wireless internet, phone, a/c in every room, and an off-the-street gated parking.
We had a wonderful experience at Casa de Piedra. We traveled with another family and the house provided enough togetherness while giving each family their own space. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking out own meals and it was great having laundry on the first floor. The location was private with only a 5 minute walk to Pelada and 15 minutes to Guiones. I would definitely recommend this house to someone who wanted to stay for awhile. The property managers were also accessible and helpful.
My husband and I spent four nights at Casa de Piedra with our daughter and 5-year-old granddaughter. The walk to Playa Pelada was a breeze and the beach was awesome. Tide pools and sea shells everywhere. The water was calm enough for swimming. Back at the house, the pool was a definite hit with my granddaughter. The house is large and comfortable. In spite of a well-equipped kitchen, we ate most meals in local restaurants. We found some good ones, too. I will probably return.
