Located in a residential area, at only a 5-minute walk from the pristine and almost deserted beach of Pelada, it is also conveniently located at an additional 10-minute walk from the surfers' beach of Guiones. Nature lovers, you will be able to observe wildlife and birds from the porch of the house, or by just walking around the area. The river of Nosara is around the corner, as well as the Nosara Biological Reserve. Surfng, horseback riding, river tours, bird watching and botanical tours are all within a short walk, as are 5 restaurants including the only two located on the beach, as well as a grocery store and a surf shop. The house can be rented along with Green Fish house located across the way, for a group of 6 to 10 persons
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Tranquilla, located in a part of Nosara close to a beautiful non-surfing beach. The house is well appointed, the kitchen is extremely well equipped and the manager of the property is friendly and helpful. The house can comfortably accommodate 2 couples or a family. Since credit cards and checks are not accepted, it was necessary to wire the rent, which we were a bit concerned about - but worked out fine. We met the manager at her bed and breakfast and followed her to the property. Rent included a mid week cleaning and washer dryer as well - excellent price value.
